MEMEBOX - Skincare Box Unboxing

Hey guys, today I have an exciting MEMEBOX unboxing for you.
But, first let me tell you about MEMEBOX.
MEMEBOX is a beauty box straight from South Korea and it is full of lovely Korean goodies.
However, MEMEBOX isn't like other beauty boxes as it is not subscription based.
They have countless different edition boxes that you can pick and choose from. No monthly subscription fee which is great. A lot more freedom in my opinion and very very addicting.
Each box contains between 4 to 8 products.
They ship internationally and I have never been charged any customs fee.
The box prices range from $15 to $90 + shipping.
Now let's get into the box.

Skincare Box

Nasaran Rose Balancing Toner 5ml (full size 50ml $58)
Nasarang's rose skincare series is renowned for its catch phrase 'high concentrate of natural rose oil extracted from 3 million Bulgarian Roses'. This Rose Balancing Toner is thicker in its texture as it glides onto the skin almost like an ampoule, deeply moisturizing and brightening up your overall complexion.
Thought's
This product definitely smells of roses. However, I'm going to have to find a tiny spatula to get it out of the little bottle, as it has a very thick gel like consistency. I think I shall have to try this out during the night as it may be a little too heavy for during the day.

Verikos Advanced Power Tightening Cream 4g (full size 75ml $36)
Highly enriched lotus flower water, collagen, bifida ferments and peptide components. The Advanced Power Tightening Cream works not only to hydrate and nourish the skin, but also to fight signs of aging and improve your skin's natural elasticity and glow.
Thought's
This product sounds super interesting and I can't wait to try it out. The scent is citrusy which I'm not a big fan of and has a lightweight gel texture, that spreads easily.

Boscians Cycle Repair Wrinkle Spot 15ml $24
This is a softly applying spot cream for treating fine lines and wrinkles on your face. Packed with galactomyces ferments, peony root extracts and adenosine. It is gentle on the skin yet very effective in filling in those fine lines. It's especially recommended to be used around your eye bags because its anti-wrinkle formula is much stronger than any average eye cream.
Thought's
Now I am super duper happy to get this. I have a lot of fine lines around my eyes, as they are very sensitive and I suffer from eczema around them. This sounds like just the product to rid me of fine lines. Unfortunately, the tube was faulty and the product leaked all inside it's packaging. I have reached out to MEMEBOX in hopes that they will send out a replacement. Finger's crossed as this is just what I've been looking for.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence 60ml $18
Instead of water, this facial essence uses snail secretion filtrate, bee venom and EGF to cleanse your rough, damaged skin from external stresses and pollution. In addition to the skin trouble care, moisture supply and skin tone improvement functions, it also helps brighten up your complexion and remove signs of aging.

I am also happy to receive this, as it means I won't have to buy a new one. I already have this product and love it. If you'd like to see my thought's on it, just click on this link right here...

Dewytree Tea Tree Porest Powder in Toner 200ml $26
This is a highly moist facial toner enriches with green clay and tea tree leaf extracts for treating blemishes and other impurities clogging up and enlarging your pores. Its secret formula lies in treating enlarged pores without dehydrating the skin.
Thoughts's
I'm not the best at applying toner, I can sometimes go months without using one. At the minute I have the Innisfree Green Tea Skin and before that I had the Etude House Wonder Pore. I'm not greatly impressed with either, they didn't work any miracles. However, this toner sounds perfect for me. I swear I have the largest pores in the world and anything that treats enlarged pores I am all for.
You're supposed to shake the bottle to mix the powder and the liquid together before applying it with a cotton pad. The scent is quiet pleasant, just a clean herbal-ish smell.

Dewytree White Dew 7 Cut Extreme Serum 30ml $41
Free of paraben, mineral oils, sulfates, trithanolamine, benzophenone, synthetic dyes and talk. This super gentle facial serum is most suitable for those with excess freckles, dark spots, uneven skin tone and sagging skin. It will work to soothe, tighten and brighten up your skin for a silkier, healthier looking complexion.
Thought's
Wow, does this sound like a wonder product or not. I'm excited to test it out. The scent is of a typical lotion and the texture is very light and absorbs quickly.

Secret Key Super Plumping Jelly Cream 50ml $77
A uniquely jelly-textured cream rich in extracts from the world's top super foods blueberry, orange, almong, broccoli, pumpkin and salmon eggs. The Super Plumping Jelly Cream aims to bring back your baby face. It will not only treat signs of aging and moisturize your face, but also work to plump up your face for a more naturally 3D look.
Thought's
Yet another interesting product. You can never have enough anti-aging goodness. Prevention is key. The scent of this is like a fruity perfume and the texture is like a runny gel.

I added up the individual prices of the full sized products and it amounted to a whopping $186. The box itself only cost me $29. If that isn't testament to how awesome MEMEBOX is, then I don't know what is.
I can't wait to try out these items and I will definitely write up individual reviews. Thanks for looking and stay tuned as I have more MEMEBOXES on their way in August. As I said...they are very addictive!

I rate this box 10/10

Rivecowe Moisture Two Way Cake Review

So shiny!!! You could almost use the packaging itself as a mirror.

This product also boasts of the 8 herbs also found in their Sebum Control compact and is also paraben free.
It also contains SPF40 PA++. Great if you are a little lazy about applying sunscreen.
This product is a powder foundation that has a light to medium coverage, but is buildable. Not quiet the 5 stars the brand gives it, but it is fairly decent.

It has a flip up plastic protector and a puff. The mirror is also a pretty decent size in case the packaging isn't shiny enough haha.

I have it in the shade 21 Natural Beige and it is a little too light for me at the moment. Though, it is nothing I can't work with. The staying power is about average, nothing that will last 12 hours. It has a semi matte finish, a little bit powdery, though it blends well. However it does catch on dry patches. So make sure to exfoliate and moisturize beforehand.

It is an ok product. Like I said before, not quiet the 5 stars the brand is rating it.
If you have a fairly normal unblemished skin, then I'd imagine you would enjoy this.
At the moment, my skin is a little too dry and blemished for it to work as best it can.
However, it is still a good product to try out if you are looking for a compact powder foundation that isn't as damaging to your purse as Bare Minerals.
I enjoyed this product enough, that I will more than likely purchase a few more products from the line to see what they have in store for me.

7/10

Thanks for looking ^.^

Innisfree No Sebum VS Rivecowe Sebum Control

If you are like myself and love Korean beauty products. Then you would have undoubtedly have heard of the Innisfree No Sebum line at some point.
It is renowned for it's oil absorbing prowess.
I have the one in the compact version rather than the loose powder, as it is more travel friendly. It's only a small compact and so it is very handy. I find that it does it's job very well. I am a super oily girl and my face breaks out into a disco ball within the hour. This product keeps me shine free for a lot longer.

However, I have recently received a new product in one of the MEMEBOXES that rival's the Innisfree No Sebum compact. And that product is the Rivecowe Sebum Control Compact.
I had not heard of the brand Rivecowe until I had received this product in the MEMEBOX. I have to say that so far...I'M LOVING IT!

Let's take a look into the similarities and differences of these two products.

As you can see from the image above, the packaging is identical. The colour being the only difference.
However, the Innisfree contains 8.5g of product, whereas the Rivecowe only has 8g.
The Innisfree is made of Jeju Island natural mineral mint ingredients. It is also free of parabens, talc, artificial colouring, animal ingredients, mineral oil or artificial flavours (which I guess they mean fragrance)
The Rivecowe boasts of containing 8 herbs, which are Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme, Mint, Borage, Sage, Jasmine and Chamomile. Furthermore, it is also paraben free.
Neither products contain spf, which I guess is good if you plan on wearing it during flash photography. Otherwise, I suggest applying sunscreen beforehand.

They both have a decent mirror, plastic protector and a puff.

As you can see here, the products themselves are different. The Innisfree has a pattern engraving and the Rivecowe is just a plain flesh tone.

I'm sorry that this is not the best swatch photo in the world. However, both products are described as sheer.
I can definitely say that the Innisfree (right side) applies onto the skin translucent and is very very matte. Sometimes a little too matte for my liking, so it is best applied lightly.

On the other hand, the Rivecowe (left side) has a slightly creamier texture and offers a very light coverage. Which, actually makes me prefer the Rivecowe as it is great for those day's where you just don't want too much fuss. I usually wear it with just concealer underneath and that is all I need. It too does a good job at mattifying the skin, but is not as dry as the Innisfree.
I enjoyed this product so much, that I purchased the Moisture Two Way Cake to see if the rest of the line was as good. That ladies & gentlemen will be my next review.

All in all, both products are great and do their purpose well. I suggest the Rivecowe if you're more of a fuss free kind of person and the Innisfree when you really need an oil absorbing superhero to go on top of your usual make up routine.

Rivecowe 8/10
Innisfree 7/10
